“What John Ryan doesn’t know about DGR isn’t worth knowing, you can ask him a question and he not only knows the answer, but will then to proceed to tell you where to find the information in the book and then an incident relating to a particular hazard. His course is by far the toughest I’ve been on true to his old Lufthansa roots but also the most interesting. The only negative thing I can say about John is that he supports Tottenham !
